About
About The Action Foundation
The Action Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring individuals with mobility challenges can experience the freedom and adventure of the great outdoors.
Our Impact
Our Mission
Empowering outdoor exploration for individuals with unique mobility challenges.
At The Action Foundation, we exist to remove real-world barriers to movement, health, and outdoor access for people with disabilities. Access to the outdoors isn’t theoretical for us—it’s personal, lived, and necessary.
We do this by putting adaptive, all-terrain mobility equipment into communities through our Tow & Go program, building partnerships that connect individuals and families to accessible outdoor experiences, and supporting local organizations as they expand inclusive access in the places people already live, learn, and gather.
Our work is rooted in collaboration, practical solutions, and shared responsibility. Rather than asking people to wait for access, we help create it—so more individuals can experience independence, dignity, and connection through movement and the outdoors.
Our Vision
Our vision is a world where individuals with mobility challenges experience adventure and independence through accessible outdoor exploration.
All types of terrain should be accessible—no matter your level of mobility. Through resources and partnerships, we create opportunities for limitless mobility and unforgettable outdoor experiences.
